Hydrogen Bulletin: 12–19 October 2026

Highlights of the Week

Three stories defined the week. AEP will invest $4 billion in a 702 MW Bloom Energy fuel cell plant for Google in Wyoming. EWE AG and VERBUND AG are launching a 500 MW electrolysis project in Nordenham with a direct connection to Germany's hydrogen core network. The Hy24 fund is acquiring Hynamics, the hydrogen subsidiary of EDF. Meanwhile, Linde's project in Leuna is four years behind schedule, and Nel's revenue from alkaline electrolysers fell by 91%.
